Junglefy are excited to announce it will be working with Lend Lease to deliver numerous living infrastructure projects at Barangaroo South, part of one of the most ambitious urban renewal projects in the world.
The Barangaroo South project, owned by the NSW Government and managed by the Barangaroo Delivery Authority, is being developed in partnership with Lend Lease. It is a 22 hectare, $6 billion urban renewal project bordering on the world famous Sydney Harbour.
The aim of the project is to combine “world-class design excellence” with sustainability to develop a legacy that can be enjoyed by many generations to come. From creating zero waste, to being carbon neutral and water positive, Barangaroo South as a mixed use precinct centred on world-class sustainability initiatives.
To achieve these world-leading outcomes, all partners and stakeholders in the project must adopt sustainable business practices, which, for Junglefy, are already the foundation of our business.
Junglefy will work with Lend Lease to deliver a combination of living infrastructure including customised elevated planter boxes, bespoke timber seating, green roofs and green facades. According to Jock Gammon, Managing Director of Junglefy, “we are very excited to be part of such a historic sustainable development.”
