The team at Junglefy are jumping up and down with excitement over the news that we have been approved for a Research Connections funding grant from the Federal Government.

This new grant means we can continue our vital research with Dr. Fraser Torpy and the Plants and Environmental Quality Research Group at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) on the proficiency of the Junglefy green wall system as an effective air filtration device in both indoor and outdoor environments.

This is the second round of funding to be approved. We received initial funding to research the relationship between plants and urban environmental quality, which has returned very positive preliminary results (watch this space for the results, we are waiting for it to be peer reviewed). Now we have secured the second round of funding this will allow us to further develop our technology which we hope will provide new opportunities in the living infrastructure sector.

The Research Connections grant aims to facilitate the collaboration between small and medium-sized businesses and the research sector to foster innovation, through the development of new ideas, and identify knowledge gaps that are hindering business growth.
