We think our cities need more green spaces. Not the colour green, but plant-life green. Plants everywhere, growing on walls of car parks, inside office buildings, along laneways, on rooftops.
We want to Junglefy our cities.
We think plants can provide a multitude of benefits to our cities. Visually they are beautiful, they take in toxins and pollutants and in return cool and clean the air, introduce wildlife corridors, reduce the heat island effect, control storm water and reduce energy consumption by providing thermal mass.
Plants make us feel good and its important in our cities that we feel closer to nature. What’s not to love about plants?
Junglefy is one of Australia’s leading green roof and wall specialists. We design, install and maintain green walls and roofs for all building sectors including commercial, retail, hospitality, residential, healthcare, education and government owned facilities.
The most important thing to know about Junglefy is that we love growing plants. We love soil and getting our hands dirty. We know the right combination of plants that will survive the harsh Australian conditions. We are passionate about research, and we are continually testing and adapting the ingredients for long-term plant life including irrigation systems, lighting, media and the infrastructure required to allow us to grow plants anywhere in and on buildings.
Junglefy was born out of the demand for green walls and roofs but also from personal passion for plants and Mother Nature that can flourish in an Australian urban environment indoors and out. We made it our mission to create the best Australian green roof and wall system to ensure plants would grow and thrive for many, many years to come and allow for easy and cost-effective maintenance.
We know plants make people happy and healthy, especially in our cities where it’s easy to lose sight of nature. We imagine our cities being taken over by plants, on walls and roofs, in tunnels and carparks, along footpaths and highways, inside, outside and everywhere in-between. We see our cities as places to create urban jungles.
