Project Description
Duck & Rice
Gadigal land
Key Facts
Hospitality giant, Mantle Group have expanded their extensive portfolio of successful restaurants with the addition of Duck & Rice.
The 1920’s Shanghai inspired restaurant fills a huge section of the prestigious level 7 at Westfield in Sydney. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining areas with impressive city views. Working with Brisbane-based architecture firm, Hogg & Lamb, the restaurant features aluminium trough planters along the balustrade and is complemented by planted pots distributed throughout the indoor and outdoor dining areas.
The trough planters, combined with specialised growing media will allow the lush plant selection to increase growth and coverage over time to create a more natural look and a permanent feature at the restaurant.
Our role
Junglefy designed and created the custom troughs for this project and selected plants for longevity and hardiness. Junglefy provides ongoing and seasonal maintenance as required.
