Project Description
Ravenswood Girls School
2011
Key Facts
Ravenswood Girls School was established in 1901 in Gordon, a suburb of Sydney. The school is still located on the original site, and has progressively expanded over the years. Opened in 2011, the Mabel Fidler Building is the hub of the school, meeting the diverse needs of the school community by providing spaces for formal and informal learning, staff and student lounges, a cafeteria, specialist performing arts spaces and school reception and administration. Junglefy created and maintain an external green wall for this central building.
Our Role
Junglefy provided technical design around the support frame, irrigation design and plant design. We then installed all elements of the green wall with modules grown off-site for six months prior to installation.
Junglefy currently maintain this green wall using elevated work platforms, ladders and mobile scaffolding.
