Innovation and biophilic design
With a commitment to sustainability and putting people first, SafeftyCulture have crafted a people-centric space that encourages collaboration and creativity.
Pushing the boundaries of the office space, the SafetyCulture headquarters in Sydney is a workplace that brings people to the office for connection, idea sharing and collaborative work. The brand new building is spread across 9 floors and features its trademark, customer-themed meeting rooms that are designed to immerse the team in the clients' brands.
Demonstrating a commitment to sustainability, SafetyCulture installed the World's first Junglefy Breathing Tree in the building foyer. At over 4 metres high, the tree's 'trunk' contains 24 modules of the patented 'Junglefy Breathing Wall' technology, an active biofiltration system that cleans the air of harmful pollutants. The tree's 'branches' are custom architectural steel arbours that mimic a tree canopy and support climbing plants.
The Junglefy Breathing Tree, containing over 230 plants, produces on average, 33 shipping containers of air free of PM2.5 and 15 shipping containers, free of VOCs. The system is naturally cleaning and does not require changing of parts - the pollutants are trapped in the plant root system and growing media, and the microbes living in the media, consume the pollutants as part of their natural photosynthesis process.
